Erdé Ballet

Teacher

At six years old I attended my first ballet class, and my passion for dance has grown ever since.

My higher education consists of a liberal arts and sciences Bachelors degree, completed cum laude, at the University College Utrecht. Following this I completed a Masters degree in History and Classical Culture at Utrecht University.

I am a fully qualified ballet teacher. I obtained my teaching diploma ‘Associate of the Ballet Faculty’ with distinction from the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) at the English Ballet School (EBS), Amsterdam. In addition, I have a physiology and anatomy diploma from the IDTA and the certificate ‘The Teaching of Pre-School Children’ obtained at EBS.

In my ballet lessons students work on the development of a good posture, fine motor skills, musicality, creativity, strength and their love for dance.

The lesson plans are specifically tailored for the different age groups. Transferring the joy of dance with attention for the individual needs of every student is key in my teaching.

The IDTA (England) is a world-famous dance qualifications body and membership association for professional dance teachers with over 7000 members in over 55 countries (www.idta.co.uk/about).

I have been teaching ballet since 2015 at several schools, including international schools. In 2019 I founded Erdé Ballet Delft. I look forward to sharing my passion for dance with my students for many years to come.

Kind regards,
